The Smyth County Sheriff Office in conjunction with the Russell County Sheriff Office and the Chilhowie Police Department are honored to sponsor a casting call for Gospel Singers, Soloists, Choirs, and Groups. D & L Recording Studio LLC will be producing a heartfelt audio CD featuring Gospel Music to honor the brave life and sacrifice of Deputy Hunter Reedy, a dedicated law enforcement officer who lost his life in the line of duty. 100% of the proceeds from the CD will go directly to support the family of Deputy Reedy during this difficult time. Deputy Hunter Reedy was shot and killed in the line of duty on August 9th, 2024.
