Greetings my name is Dana and I would like to thank the Law Enforcement Agencies of the Smyth County Sheriff Office, Russell County Sheriff Office and the Chilhowie Police Department for their willingness to support this project. I have spoken with their departments personally and have met with them in person, as well as the Town Officials of Chilhowie, Marion and Saltville.
We are producing a heartfelt audio CD featuring Gospel music to honor the brave life and sacrifice of Deputy Hunter Reedy, a dedicated law enforcement officer who lost his life in the line of duty. 100% of the proceeds from the CD will go directly to support the family of Deputy Reedy during this difficult time. Deputy Hunter Reedy was shot and killed in the line of duty on August 9th, 2024.
From this point forward everything written on this website is from my own hand and heart. I know in 2024 people are very leery about who and what they get involved with, and I am no different. You don’t need to know who I am, but you should know the Law Enforcement Agencies and the Town Officials I mentioned above. I encourage you to contact them if you want to verify my statements or my motives for putting this project together.
We are seeking Gospel singers—soloists, choirs, and groups who can convey the spirit of faith, hope, and love through their music. All backgrounds and styles are welcome as long as they align with the essence of Gospel Music as well as the purpose of this project. This project will be professionally recorded, mixed and mastered with 100% of the proceeds given directly to the Smyth County Sheriffs Office or their designated agent. We never see your money and the only donation link you will find on this website, is sponsored by the Smyth County Sheriffs Office.
