Church Audio Training & Support
Church audio systems have become incredibly powerful, but that power can also make them intimidating. A digital console such as a Behringer X32, M32, or WING can perform an enormous number of tasks. The challenge is understanding how all of those features work together. Our goal is to make that technology understandable. We provide practical instruction covering subjects such as Behringer X32, M32 & Wing basic and advanced operations.
We cover tasks like Gain structure, EQ, Compression, Effects, Monitor mixing, In-ear monitoring, Stage boxes and digital connections via AES50, Digital I/O routing, Livestreaming, Broadcasting, Recording, DAW integration, Troubleshooting, Church sound system organization and so much more. Sometimes a in house visit is not practical, so we offer this same service via Zoom. Please click here for more information.
Hands-On Church Assistance
When possible, we can work directly with churches to help identify problems and improve their existing systems. Sometimes the solution isn’t buying more equipment but rater simply understanding the equipment you already have. We want to help churches get the most from the systems they already own.
Volunteer Training
One of the greatest needs in many churches is training volunteers. People often step behind the sound console because someone needs to do it — not because they have been given the opportunity to learn how to do it. We want to change that. Our goal is to help volunteers become confident, capable, and comfortable serving their church’s worship ministry.
Online Training
Not every church can can afford to have someone visit in person, to train their volunteers. That is why online education will be an important part of our ministry. Through online training, videos, live meetings, demonstrations, and educational resources, we can help people regardless of where they live. The goal isn’t simply to teach someone where a button is located. We want them to understand why they are making a particular adjustment. When you understand signal flow, gain structure, routing, EQ, dynamics, and mixing principles, you can work with almost any sound system. Mixing On Mondays
Our online meetings provide an opportunity for church audio volunteers and engineers to learn together, ask questions, and discuss real-world audio situations. These meetings are designed to be educational, practical, and welcoming, whether you are an experienced engineer or someone who is just getting started. Please click here for more information.
Bringing the Ministry to Your Church
One of our long-term goals is to travel throughout the United States visiting churches and providing hands-on audio training. Imagine having someone sit beside your volunteers at your actual mixing console and walk through the system with them. Instead of learning from a generic example, your team can learn using your equipment, your room, your microphones, your speakers, and your challenges. We can help your team understand how everything is connected and how to operate it more effectively. The part of our ministry will depend on donations, grants and support to make that possible. Your support doesn’t simply help pay for travel, room and board, it helps us take this ministry to others in need.
