D & L RECORDING STUDIO LLC

A Professional Recording Opportunity for Gospel Artists

Your music. Your message. Your ministry.

Free Gospel Music Recording, Mixing & Mastering

Gospel groups and Christian artists from anywhere are welcome to record their music at D & L Recording Studio in Honaker, Virginia. Drawing on decades of experience in recording, mixing and mastering, I offer my professional services at no charge to help artists share their music and preserve their performances for years to come.

Whether you have one song, a small collection or an album in mind, we can discuss your project and plan the sessions together. All sessions take place at my home recording studio in Honaker, Virginia, by appointment only. Travel to the studio and any personal travel expenses are the artist’s responsibility.

What Is Free — and What Is Not

Recording, mixing and mastering are free. Artists are responsible for any third-party costs associated with their projects, including applicable music licensing, CD manufacturing, packaging, shipping or distribution. I have experience working with CD Baby and can help explain the steps involved, while artists approve and pay their own outside expenses.

Respect for Songwriters and Copyright

Original songs are welcome, as are songs written by others when the group has obtained the permissions or licenses required for its intended use. I will not record material without appropriate authorization. Permission to make physical CDs does not necessarily cover downloads, streaming or video uses. We will discuss the planned release before recording so everyone understands their responsibilities.

Let’s Talk About Your Music

If you are a Gospel artist or group interested in recording, please contact me with a little information about your music, how many songs you hope to record, and where you are traveling from. We can discuss the project and determine whether my studio is a good fit. Please review our recording requirements and guidelines before submitting your inquiry.
